Welcome to the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Dojangs
Taekwon-Do is a modern scientific martial art of self-defence. The UKTD offers classes in London and the Home Counties which are open to both men and women. Junior classes are available for children from age 5 and beginners are welcome to join throughout the year. Our website contains information on the UKTD, our class venues and times, action photos, videos, articles on Taekwon-Do and much more.

UKTD President promoted to 7th Dan Master!

UKTD President and Chief Instructor Mr Moradoff has been promoted to 7th Dan 'Master' by the ITF this August at the World Championships in Belarus.

On behalf of all UKTD Instructors, Black Belts and Members we congratulate Master Moradoff on his promotion.

English Open Championship 25th September 2010:

The 2010 English Open Championships takes place 25th September at the K2 Crawley, Pease Pottage Hill, Crawley, RH11 9BQ.

UKTD success at the London Open 2010:

The 2010 London Open Championship took place on 19th July at the Guildford Spectrum. The UKTD congratulate all our members who competed. Our medal winners include:

›› Ryan Kwan (blue belt): Gold - special technique.
›› Marek Cwik (yellow belt): Gold - sparring, Silver - breaking and . ›› Bronze - patterns.
›› Callum Young (1st Dan Black Belt): Silver - special technique.
›› Kieran Morgan (yellow belt): 2 Bronze - patterns and breaking.
›› Adam Chong (green belt): Bronze - sparring.

For some of our medal winners it was their first championship and all look forward to competing again at the forthcoming English Open in September.

UKTD Black Belt promotions June 2010:

Announcing the promotion of the following UKTD students to 1st Dan Black Belt: Adrian Dabrowski, Maksym Polcyn, Sulaimaan Lim and Callum Young.

At only 11 years of age both Sulaimaan and Callum are the youngest of our members to be promoted to black belt displaying perseverance and dedication to their training since joining our classes at age 5!

Congratulations to all promoted.

ITF European Taekwon-Do Championships 2010:

This year's European Championship took place in Barletta, Italy from 10th - 14th March. Representing England as a part of the England ITF Squad was UKTD Instructor David Bogen. Mr Bogen collected 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in both individual and team categories. The competition was fierce with participating countries such as Russia, Czech Republic and Greece sending out large sponsored contingents.

Mr Bogen plans to continue his training with the England Team and looks forward to the 2011 European and World ITF Taekwon-Do Championships.
